Responsibilities
- Conduct research to find potential clients
- Connect with prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc. to set up meetings
- Help potential clients identify their software needs and provide information on how to meet the needs
- Make presentations for sales
- Offer services to prospective clients, and negotiate with them to reach reasonable prices and close sales
- Meet sales goals and other productivity metrics
- Maintain a database of prospective and current clients
- Gather software requirements from clients and answer their queries
- Coordinate with software development team to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat sales
Qualification and Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to generate leads
- Good presentation and pitching skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- 2+ years of experience in selling software services (not products)
- Proven track record of closing deals and meeting sales goals at a software development company
