  • Conduct research to find potential clients
  • Connect with prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc. to set up meetings
  • Help potential clients identify their software needs and provide information on how to meet the needs
  • Make presentations for sales
  • Offer services to prospective clients, and negotiate with them to reach reasonable prices and close sales
  • Meet sales goals and other productivity metrics
  • Maintain a database of prospective and current clients
  • Gather software requirements from clients and answer their queries
  • Coordinate with software development team to ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat sales

Qualification and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to generate leads
  • Good presentation and pitching skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 2+ years of experience in selling software services (not products)
  • Proven track record of closing deals and meeting sales goals at a software development company
